Day - 03 Delhi / Haridwar / Mussorie
Transfer to the railway
station in time to connect train for Haridwar.
In Haridwar, you will be met on arrival and
transferred to Mussorie

Day - 05 Barkot / Hanumanchatti
/ Yamunotri / Barkot ( 92kms.)
Today you will visit Hanumanchatti
and Yamunotri.
HANUMANCHATTI: 13kms from Yamunotri. The confluence
of hanuman Ganga and Yamuna rivers, from where
the trek to Dodi Tal (3,307mt) starts
YAMUNOTRI: One of the Char Dhams according to
Hindu mythology, Yamunotri is the origin of
the sacred river Yamuna. Famous for its thermal
springs and glaciers, it is one of the most
important stopovers on the itinerary of the
Hindu pilgrim. According to a legend, Asit Muni,
a revered sage, used to reside here
Day - 06 Barkot / Gangotri (176kms.)
Morning drive to Gangotri.
GANGOTRI: This sacred shrine,
situated at an altitude of 3,200 Mt is the source
of the river Bhagirathi. The mountain peaks
of shivling, satopanth and Bhagirathi sisters
surround it. Accessible by a motor able road,
it is one of the most pious Hindu pilgrimages.

- 07 Gangotri / Gaumukh (18kms.)
Today you will trek to Gaumukh.
GAUMUKH : Source of the
Gangotri glacier & source of the river Bhagirathi,
Gaumukh is located at an altitude of 4200 metres.
Gaumukh is - 18 kms easy trek from Gangtori,
The Ganga find her source where it gushes out
of a snout in the glacier.

Day - 08 Gaumukh / Gangotri /
Uttarkashi ( 99kms.)+ 17kms.Trek
GANGOTRI: This sacred shrine,
situated at an altitude of 3,200 Mt is the source
of the river Bhagirathi. The mountain peaks
of shivling, satopanth and Bhagirathi sisters
surround it. Accessible by a motor able road,
it is one of the most pious Hindu pilgrimages.
TEMPLE OF GANGOTRI: As the
legend goes, Raja Bhagirath used to worship
Lord Shiva at the sacred stone near which the
temple is located. It is believed that
Goddess Ganga first descended to earth from
heaven, at this stone.
Amar Singh Thapa, the Gorkha Commander of Garhwal,
in the 18th century AD constructed this temple.
It is also believed that the Pandavas came here
to perform the great " Deva Yagna"
to atone the death of their kinsmen in the battle
of Mahabharat.
SUBMERGED SHIVLING: Submerged
in the river, this natural rock shivling is
the place where, according to mythology, Lord
Shiva sat when he received the Ganga in his
matted locks. It is visible in winter months
when water level decreases.
Day - 09 Uttarkashi / Srinagar
/ Gupatkashi 283 kms. Drive (9 - 10 hrs)
After a Very early breakfast,
leave for Guptkashi. A late lunch is scheduled
en route at Srinagar. On the way, see the heritage
city of Tehri slowly sinking into the mighty
waters of the Holy River Ganges, due to the
construction of the Tehri Dam. After lunch,
continue your journey and today for the first
time see the beautiful river Mandakini. Travel
alongside the river to reach Guptakashi late
in the evening.
Day - 10 Gupatkashi / Kedarnath
(33kms.)+14kms. Trek
After breakfast pick up
your packed lunch, and leave for Gaurikund (32
kms drive-one way). On arrival start your journey
on the tough Trek ahead. Stop for lunch en route
and continue after that to arrive by late afternoon.
On arrival check in to the Tourist Bunglow/
Parmarth Ashram. After freshening up, perform
Pooja and also Darshan at Shri Kedarnathji.
In the evening also visit Adi Shankaracharya
Samadhi behind the temple.
Overnight at the Ashram or Tourist Bunglow.
Day - 11 Kedarnath / Gupatkashi
/ Badrinath 14kms.Trek + (215kms.)
After breakfast, start you
journey back to Gaurikund and on arrival leave
for Guptakashi/Badrinath by road . one of the
most beautiful sites on the whole trip. Enjoy
the beautiful drive through the thick forest
lunch at Joshimath . Arrive at Badrinath .Check
in at Hotel .
Overnight Hotel Naryan Palace
Day - 12 Badrinath / Joshimath
(54kms.)
Drive to Auli and witness
Mt. Nanda Devi and other peaks. Explore the
area and drive down to Joshimath for meals and
overnight stay.
Day - 13 Joshimath / Deoprayag
(22kms.)
Deoprayag is 22 Kms from
Joshimath and 95 kms from Haridwar and is the
most sacred Confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi
rivers in the vast network of tributaries that
form the Ganges. It is from Deoprayag that the
river starts taking the name Ganga. At a height
of 1700 feet above sea level, 70 km from Rishikesh,
Deoprayag is a pilgrimage centre of great significance
and is the second most important confluence
in India, next to Prayag (Allahabad). In Treta-yuga,
Lord Rama and Laksmana performed a yajna (sacrifice)
here to atone for killing Ravana, who was a
Brahmin. The ancient Raghunath Temple here with
a 15-foot tall deity of Sri Rama (Sri Raghunath)
is one of the 108 most important temples in
India. In front of the temple is Garuda. Behind
the temple and slightly up a hill is Vamana's
cave and nearby is Lord Rama's stone throne.

Leave Deoprayag for Rishikesh
by road.
Arrive and check in at the hotel/aashram.

Day - 15 Rishikesh / Haridwar
(24kms.)
Today you will visit the
temples of Rishikesh and Haridwar.
Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day - 16 Haridwar / Delhi (234kms.)
Transfer to the railway
station in time to connect train for Delhi.
In Delhi, meeting and assistance on arrival
and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day - 17 Departure Delhi
Transfer to the airport
in time to connect your onward flight.
